Hello to you in 2024,
New Collages!
We have some great news for you! New Collages from September 2022 through March 2024 are available on the website! We are not only caught up, but we are now ahead! A big thanks to Bill Eddleman for preparing these Collages.
As always, we ask for submissions to future Collages. We would love to include your work on your family ancestry in Cape Girardeau County.
New Newsletter Service
We have moved our newsletter service to Substack and this is the first post from this service. Settings and housekeep are still in the works. You can always read the archives, which are also linked from the website. This is a great way to look up meeting information. I believe this service will be much easier to utilize for both the writers and the readers. You can visit any post and leave a comment as well (with a free Substack account), giving you an additional way to communicate. We have had trouble with two-factor authentication limitations allowing multiple individuals to utilize services and Substack will allow us to assign a team so multiple folks can easily send out the news. Also, the number of emails we can send out is not limited, allowing us more freedom to share reminders of meetings.
A Welcome
We welcome Marybeth Niederkorn as our new Corresponding Secretary. This position has been empty for a long time. Be sure to give her a thanks if you see her.
Until next time,
Cheryl
